About Me

I am the founder of Golden Ginkgo Group, where I help professional service firms and their leaders understand and take action around growth. I do this by identifying where friction and untapped opportunities lie and by working with the humans facing those dynamics to find practical next steps.

While many advisors promise growth for any type of industry, I specialize in relationship-based businesses where reputation and value are built on client experience, relationships last decades, and long-term sustainable growth has as much to do with recruiting, training, and staff retention as it does filling the current quarter's sales funnel. In a nutshell, I am a specialist in businesses driven by how individual leaders perform, not just by what an organization markets.

When clients come to me with support around their individual performance (coaching), we focus on what might be holding them back, how to unlock their potential for the next phase of their personal evolution, and how to build life-long skills that lead to a more purposeful, effective, and gratifying life-work balance.

My work bridges strategic thinking with emotional intelligence. I focus on how clients actually make decisions, not just how firms think they should. Through practical frameworks and real-world examples, I help experts turn insight into execution, align profitability with credibility, and communicate value in ways that feel confident, clear, and deeply human.

Difference working with Firms/Teams and with Individuals

When asked about how I balance working with organizations and teams as well as individuals, my answer is simple: "It's often all about the same things."  I have never met any organization or individual who has unlimited time, resources, or energy. It's always a challenge to know where to invest and when to step back. Mindset and judgment matter at all levels of business, and the financial link between individual performance and firm competitiveness is clear.

  • When individuals are grounded, happy, and productive, the organization wins.

  • When organizations have high-quality, authentic growth cultures, staff and leader productivity are naturally elevated.

Both people and teams need to constantly work on:

  • Clarifying/defending their value

  • Refining their lead processing

  • Maintaining their network of referral sources and strategic partners

  • Preparing next-gen leadership

  • Delivering high quality product consistently

  • Balancing productivity with downtime

  • Staying on top of tech, people, and innovation trends

  • Exercising sound stewardship of their time, budget, and resources

There's obviously more than this list, but it makes a point. Relationship-based businesses must constantly reinvest in people and relationships in order to thrive.
